Happy Halloween!

Spooky Spider Dip

This is one of my favs to make for Halloween! Super simple & fun presentation.

Recipe

1 pack (8 oz) cream cheese

1 (8 oz) jar salsa

1/2 cup prepared guacamole

8 oz container sour cream

Place cream cheese & salsa in a blender; blend until smooth

Spread cream cheese mixture in round pie plate

Smooth guacamole on top, leaving a 1 " border

Put sour cream in plastic bag, and pipe circles over guac

Run tip of knife through to make spider web

Pop a plastic spider in web (optional)

Serve with tortilla chips. Yum!

A Sweet Day!

It was a "baking sort of day" so...I decided  to try out Stampin' Up's Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps.
I used the smiley Jack-O' Lantern face.

Here's what I did:
1. rolled dough into balls
2. flattened with a glass, dipped in sugar
3. dipped cookie stamp into sugar, then pressed into dough
4. used a biscuit cutter to trim away excess and to make uniform in size
5. baked at 350 for 10 min.

Here they are, hot from the oven!

Next, I decorated, trying sugars and using colored food coloring gel to paint on faces.
Fun fun!

Girlfriends are the BEST!

I made this card a little bit ago, for a DEAR friend's Birthday. What would we do without our best girlfriends?? (you know who you all are!) Mwua! xo :>

Wonderfall!

I just can't get enough of this stamp set! I wanted to create a more masculine Birthday card, using Stampin' Up's Wonderfall stamp set & coordinating Autumn Accents Bigz die. I embossed the new Core'dinations cardstock (in Early Expresso) with the sqaure lattice folder. To "roughen" it up a bit, I lightly sanded with our new Stampin' Sanding block (Love!) I also added clear embossing on the maple leaf with the Daydream Medallions stamp set & the sentiment is from Apothecary Art. Thanks for looking! : )

Wine Bottle Tag

My Stampin' Up upline shared this pocket tag with me. A folded 8 x 8 piece of paper is used to create it.
I thought it would make a cute wine tag!

I used our Wonderfall stamp set & coordinating Bigz Autumn Accents die along with the Friendly Phrases set. I am loving the Comfort Cafe Designer series paper, great for fall projects. Happy Creating!

Happy First Day of Fall Y'all!

This gorgeous fall weather has me in the mood to bake!

I whipped up some chocolate chip banana muffins for my neighbors. Mmmm....

Fall is in the air...

I saw this wreath idea on Pinterest and had to make one myself! I have looked everywhere for the original post & can't find it, so I can't give credit to the original designer. But it's all over Pinterest and google. I took a wreath frame, wrapped it in moss (used hot glue to adhere). Then, added mini pumpkins and a burlap bow. Simple!
